biography

Born 1978. Lives and works between Berlin and Tbilisi.

Studied at the Royal College of Art (MA Photography, 2006). Selected solo exhibitions include the Stedelijk Museum, Kunsthalle Basel, and Fondation Cartier. Group exhibitions include MoMA, Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, and the 56th Venice Biennale.

Work held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam), and the Pinakothek der Moderne (Munich).
